Managing Director Diellza Nika Hyseni, a law costs draftsperson, brings more than 15 years’ legal-costs experience to the practice and remains directly involved in technical costs work and quality control. She works alongside Mentor Nika, law costs draftsman and Head of Housing Disrepair Costs, whose claimant costs work is particularly focused on Housing Disrepair and MoD NIHL.
Together, the leadership team brings 20+ years' combined legal-costs experience at leadership level to DMD Costs, combined with modern systems, rapid communication and a specialist focus on claimant costs recovery.

Our fee is fixed and agreed before instructions are accepted. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, our agreed fee is payable when your firm receives the recovered costs from the paying party.

Send an enquiry or call us. We reply within one working day and establish what you need us to do and where the matter has reached.
Send the papers through the portal
Your firm sends the papers through the DMD Costs Portal, so everything relating to the instruction stays in one place. For a housing disrepair matter we normally need the complete file.
A fixed fee, agreed first
The fee is fixed and agreed before any work begins. We confirm the scope of the instruction at the same time.
The first draft
First drafts are normally returned within five working days of receiving complete papers. Urgent turnaround can be agreed separately before instruction.
Through to settlement
If Points of Dispute follow, we prepare Replies where appropriate and negotiate the costs to settlement. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, our agreed fee is payable when your firm receives the recovered costs from the paying party.
